When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kryspin Dulka to make any attempt to save it. In the 6th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ton Eschendaal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Rafal Dropinski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kryspin Dulka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Ton Eschendaal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Ton Eschendaal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kryspin Dulka made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Ruch Pniów's Zdzislaw Lenertej managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kees Mooiweer in the 36 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 37th minute of play forced Ruch Pniów's goalkeeper Kryspin Dulka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kees Mooiweer made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ruch Pniów's Marian Przybyciel. Kryspin Dulka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Ruch Pniów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grabiel Saracha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Lenertej in the 56th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Ruch Pniów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziemowit Nigbor to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ton Eschendaal in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. After 77 minutes of play, Ruch Pniów's Ton Eschendaal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 89th minute of play forced Ruch Pniów's goalkeeper Kryspin Dulka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Grabiel Saracha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kryspin Dulka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 92nd minute of the match. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kryspin Dulka. Kryspin Dulka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
