After a defensive mix-up in Romania's zone, İrfan Attar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carol Stinga came out of the goal and İrfan Attar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by İrfan Attar in the 8th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes FC Urzicuța got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Taurino. In the 11th minute, Vlad Chiricheş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Costica Vladimiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanda Cutov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Sandu Vlaicu made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Apolo Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Kulabhusana Karabashlykov came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Adam Olaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sandu Vlaicu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costica Vladimiri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 29th minute of the match, Adam Olaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sandu Vlaicu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sandu Vlaicu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adam Olaru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İrfan Attar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandu Vlaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Kulabhusana Karabashlykov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carol Stinga. The supporters of Romania booed when FC Urzicuța was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Stinga in the 89th minute of play forced FC Urzicuța's goalkeeper Sandu Vlaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Anton Stinga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandu Vlaicu was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Aurel Beldeanu's late challenge caught a Romania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
