The supporters of Wolves Academy booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jovan Borisov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Borjan Golubovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serbia's supporters rose to their feet, but Borjan Golubovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Ciordaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wolves Academy's Radu Ciordaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drasko Rajkovic in the 11th minute of play. Serbia's Momir Gisic quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Petru Hudiță, made in the 12th minute of the game. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gigel Orescu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Borjan Golubovic got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Vladeta Jovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radu Ciordaș was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Condescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Cvijetin Nanusevski got a free kick in the 30th minute. Borjan Golubovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Ciordaș having to interfere. In the 34th minute Silviu Bărbătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Wolves Academy's Silviu Bărbătescu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sreten Popovic to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Petru Hudiță with Gigel Orescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Aron Condescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Orescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Sreten Popovic's late challenge caught a Wolves Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sreten Popovic helped the player get up and apologised. Sreten Popovic kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wolves Academy's Alex Onciu got a free kick in the 65th minute. Alex Onciu made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alexandru Timaru however managed to control. Serbia's Jovan Borisov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Petru Hudiță, made in the 71st minute of the game. Sreten Popovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Radu Ciordaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sreten Popovic took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radu Ciordaș. Radu Ciordaș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Borjan Golubovic got a free kick in the 85th minute. Serbia's attentive Rasko Nestorovski managed to snatch the ball when Petru Hudiță made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Vladeta Jovic came free, but Radu Ciordaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute Silviu Bărbătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serbia were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Wolves Academy's much stronger midfield.
