The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Genco Sağman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Brighton's Darryl Boon. Darryl Boon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Genco Sağman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Darryl Boon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Furkan Özdoğal charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Furkan Özdoğal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kumluca SK's Furkan Özdoğal got a free kick in the 16th minute. Darryl Boon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Kaman in the 21st minute of the match. Murat Nurtekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Lee in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Faizal Choo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kumluca SK's Murat Nurtekin. Murat Nurtekin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Kumluca SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 38th match minute, Brighton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Ning to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genco Sağman in the 39th minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Darryl Boon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Kumluca SK's goal looked a bit too open when Alam Yi-Sheng came free, but Murat Nurtekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Kumluca SK's goalkeeper Murat Nurtekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faizal Choo. Darryl Boon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genco Sağman, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Faizal Choo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kumluca SK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Şeray Kerimhan hit a great ball. Firdauz Politiek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Murat Nurtekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darryl Boon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genco Sağman in the 57th minute of play. Brighton's Darryl Boon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Brighton from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Kumluca SK's Genco Sağman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Darryl Boon. Darryl Boon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 1-5 became the score in the 66th minute when Mete Kaman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Kumluca SK's goal looked a bit too open when Alam Yi-Sheng came free, but Murat Nurtekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Daniz Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murat Nurtekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firdauz Politiek hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Darryl Boon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genco Sağman in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Genco Sağman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Brighton getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Noh Hian hit a great ball.

The Kumluca SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kumluca SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
