Spectators: 417 (Terracing: 320, Seating: 97, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sílvio Luiz Amaral started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Urbano to maneuver through the defense. After 3 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Beto Domingues. Feliciano Virila took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Roberto do Vale. Santos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Crespo FC's Hector Ugutz got a free kick in the 7th minute. Andres Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Zé Roberto do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Amaral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Placido Eladio came out and tried to block the shot, but Sílvio Luiz Amaral slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Crespo FC's Hector Ugutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Roberto do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Crespo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Linhares came free, but Placido Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Sílvio Luiz Amaral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Santos FC's Célio Custódio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Rigoberto Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Hector Ugutz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crespo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After 39 minutes of play, Crespo FC's Andres Gau made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Rigoberto Guillerme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crespo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Guillerme to make the kick off. Rigoberto Guillerme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Zé Roberto do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Custódio struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Placido Eladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. Rigoberto Guillerme might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Roberto do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Guillerme ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonides Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crespo FC's Placido Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Domingues in the 69th minute of play. Zé Roberto do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Guillerme in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Domingues to maneuver through the defense. If Rigoberto Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andres Gau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Roberto do Vale having to make a save. Crespo FC's Arsenio Orlondon was substituted for Justino Selmo. In the 85th minute Severiano Javiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Feliciano Virila scored to the left of an out of position Zé Roberto do Vale, making the score, 3-8. If Feliciano Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Roberto do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Guillerme in the 93rd minute. Sílvio Luiz Amaral struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Placido Eladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC.

Crespo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
