A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Daniel Pimentel hit a great ball. A hard shot by Mariusz Cwojdak from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Wilson Amorim's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Domarecki in the 10th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszko Domarecki took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bogdan Chlebek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Motor Czechów's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Bogdan Chlebek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Chlebek was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Chlebek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Domarecki in the 25th minute of the match. Kajetan Juroszek made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Stepan Krymov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Stepan Krymov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Chlebek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Zbyszko Domarecki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Krymov, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Kajetan Juroszek made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Feliks Mnich immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Domarecki in the 39th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Domarecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stepan Krymov in the 44th minute. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Silvério Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stepan Krymov made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvério Toscano, made in the 55th minute of the game. Bogdan Chlebek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 58th minute of the match. When Mariusz Cwojdak fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motor Czechów's protests and gave Mariusz Cwojdak a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Portugal booed when Motor Czechów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Cwojdak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Faustino Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Stepan Krymov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. After 74 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Moreira. 77 minutes into the match, Motor Czechów's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Bogdan Chlebek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolomeu Dias got free with Bogdan Chlebek in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Motor Czechów's Stepan Krymov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Krymov came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Stepan Krymov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Chlebek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
