In the 27th minute, one of Three Lions FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Three Lions FC. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Ekeroth's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Gunnar Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. If Gunnar Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 59 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented George Buffon managed to make a qualified save. Three Lions FC's players were relieved. Major Barna in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of George Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Ekeroth in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 75thth minute of the game Gunnar Ekeroth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. George Lukaku took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fodor Daniel. Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boros Benedek got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Three Lions FC to leave the ground with a draw.
