After 10 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Liang Cai put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Liang Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Daniele Pich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liang Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
