In the 9th minute, one of Het Koffiehuis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Het Koffiehuis. If Vincent Van Achten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lennart De Lauw having to make a save. 22 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Het Koffiehuis's Lennart De Lauw. Lennart De Lauw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frank Sachs in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lennart De Lauw, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Robbie Wagemans's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robbie Wagemans helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Germany booed when Het Koffiehuis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Wagemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris-George De Middeleer to maneuver through the defense. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Het Koffiehuis's Lennart De Lauw. Lennart De Lauw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luís Koffidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luís Koffidis took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Albin Holweck took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennart De Lauw. Lennart De Lauw dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart De Lauw saved Het Koffiehuis from getting behind. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Germany's Albin Holweck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennart De Lauw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Het Koffiehuis's Abel Daniels got a free kick in the 67th minute. Abel Daniels got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vincent Van Achten. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Lennart De Lauw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lennart De Lauw was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart De Lauw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart De Lauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Germany were the better team. Germany's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
