Konstanty Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengiz Aksoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Filcho Dzhagarov with Kajetan Winograd as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Turkey's Tosunbey Gulpinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filcho Dzhagarov, made in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Nistor Sârban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tunaydin Aga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nistor Sârban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tunaydin Aga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Sârban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstanty Wawro made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Cengiz Aksoy sent off a good shot on target. Konstanty Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengiz Aksoy in the 26th minute of the match. Tunaydin Aga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Dziurowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstanty Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doruk Kashani in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Rega Merida CF defense, Davut Uyanik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstanty Wawro. The Rega Merida CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Wawro should have stopped the shot. Konstanty Wawro was a little too slow when Davut Uyanik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nistor Sârban to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Rega Merida CF got a corner. Turkey's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filcho Dzhagarov ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doruk Kashani in the 55th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Davut Uyanik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davut Uyanik spun around in front of the goal 59 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Rega Merida CF's goal. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Filcho Dzhagarov with Kajetan Winograd as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 64 minutes, Cengiz Aksoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turkey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cengiz Aksoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nistor Sârban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tunaydin Aga having to make a save. 73 minutes into the game, Davut Uyanik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Konstanty Wawro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rega Merida CF's La Piszczek was substituted for Filcho Dzhagarov. 87 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cengiz Aksoy came free, but Konstanty Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunduzhan Ayik in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstanty Wawro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Gunduzhan Ayik put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Konstanty Wawro.
