With a left leg Waldir Peres saved Planet Caravan from getting behind. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. Eriberto Montenegro made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anísio Saraiva immediately put the ball in play. Enrique de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fabian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Maxime Durand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of France booed when Planet Caravan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir Peres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Peletier went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 26th play minutes Enrique de Medeiros shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Maxime Durand and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31st minute Luís Fabian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Planet Caravan's Enrique de Medeiros got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Bruneau. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Waldir Peres successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Planet Caravan's Luís Fabian in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fabian in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldir Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luís Fabian came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Planet Caravan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fabian couldn't finish the play. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fabian's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Waldir Peres didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. A collision led to Planet Caravan getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Adriano do Nascimento hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, David Barbier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Barbier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, David Barbier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After a rather tough play, Planet Caravan's Valdomiro Macedo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
