Wim Wilmes scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Horea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Horea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when AC Milan TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Simionică didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Costin Armanca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan TM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Alex Şimoc hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Octavian Horea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Horea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Horea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cornel Pamfil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan TM's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Horea came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when AC Milan TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Armanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, David Eikelkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Horea. AC Milan TM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Eikelkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Octavian Horea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Horea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. After some careless play in the AC Milan TM defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavian Horea. The AC Milan TM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Horea should have stopped the shot. AC Milan TM's Octavian Horea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 94th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Octavian Horea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Netherlands were the better team. Netherlands's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
