Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantino Lartaun got the match started through his kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hernan Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Expreso del oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Hernan Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hernan Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Fernanco having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gaby Diares sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. With a little luck, Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hernan Fernanco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Meesters went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the last second Hernan Fernanco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Expreso del oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Hernan Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Expreso del oeste's goalkeeper Hernan Fernanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Expreso del oeste's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Hernan Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Egbert Nijveldt managed to volley towards the net. Hernan Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Fernanco having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Lartaun in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Lartaun in the 85th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hernan Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Netherlands supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Expreso del oeste's performance. The match ended with a win for Expreso del oeste.
