Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Eloy Dominic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Dominic in the 13th minute of play. If Ladislao Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nueva Lepra FC's Gerson Arce got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Germany booed when Nueva Lepra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Tancredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 30th minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match Nueva Lepra FC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Martino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nueva Lepra FC's Jorge Martino to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nueva Lepra FC's Ladislao Hibai got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Ladislao Hibai notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Ladislao Hibai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Lepra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Frank Sachs's late challenge caught a Nueva Lepra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Nueva Lepra FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Hibai in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ladislao Hibai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Eloy Dominic tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 74th minute. Eloy Dominic scored 1-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ladislao Hibai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Lepra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Hibai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Dominic. The Nueva Lepra FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nueva Lepra FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
