Tobias Reuters didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Dolar in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Eliseo Cutri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Porziano Marchitelli made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Charmander City's Tobias Reuters managed to reach the ball for a save. Tobias Reuters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 22nd minute of play. Tobias Reuters came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Porziano Marchitelli. But to his dismay, Porziano Marchitelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Miguel Tadzio in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. In the 29th minute, Porziano Marchitelli made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Reuters. Charmander City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Dolar in the 47th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 95th minute Charmander City were awarded a corner. Carlos Izquierdoz went to the cornerflag to take it. Italy played a much better game than Charmander City and deserved their victory. The Charmander City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
