With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eufrasio Vall saved Mariolo from getting behind. In the 14th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eufrasio Vall was a little too slow when Viriato Moura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 21st minute Benedito Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. Eulalio Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match, Felipe Barreto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eufrasio Vall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 44th minute, Benedito Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Caetano Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 53rd minute of play forced Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Mariolo's Umea Loza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The supporters of Portugal booed when Mariolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lartaun Carrandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's attentive Graciano Coutinho managed to snatch the ball when Lartaun Carrandi made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Benedito Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Mariolo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Pimentel took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Pimentel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eufrasio Vall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 91 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witold Pietras. When the match was over Mariolo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Portugal throughout the match.
