Rolandas Rolando hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walery Joks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sostene Vitulli. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Waselewicz in the 9th minute of play. Walery Joks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walery Joks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siricio Liotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siricio Liotta took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walery Joks. Walery Joks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Walery Joks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 31 minutes into the match, Siricio Liotta notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of UNIA Oswiecim's Walery Joks. Walery Joks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 40th minute of play forced UNIA Oswiecim's goalkeeper Walery Joks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes UNIA Oswiecim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. In the 45th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Joks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Rolandas Rolando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UNIA Oswiecim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. In the 45th match minute, UNIA Oswiecim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolandas Rolando to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 47th minute of play forced UNIA Oswiecim's goalkeeper Walery Joks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Porziano Marchitelli. After the first half Italy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walery Joks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 55th minute of play. Walery Joks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a little luck, UNIA Oswiecim's Walery Joks got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Tino during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. UNIA Oswiecim's Damazy Leper was substituted for Dorel Cârțan. After 70 played minutes UNIA Oswiecim got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Tino. Walery Joks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Walery Joks in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siricio Liotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walery Joks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Guiscardo Davide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, UNIA Oswiecim's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Curto came free, but Walery Joks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radoslaw Waselewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radoslaw Waselewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
