Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Strandsgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenz Acarreta got free with Flavio Vittori in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 11th minute of the match. Kris Boolsen got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lorenz Acarreta. Kenneth Strandsgaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Amin Rostvold struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amager FC. Kris Boolsen got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lorenz Acarreta. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Lorenz Acarreta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amin Rostvold in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard. Kenneth Strandsgaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erhard Lovelady, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Strandsgaard saved Amager FC from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Amager FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Kenneth Strandsgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zena Busacca during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zena Busacca to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amin Rostvold was the one to do the kick off. Kenneth Strandsgaard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Porziano Marchitelli went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kris Boolsen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Kenneth Strandsgaard didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amin Rostvold, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 96th minute, Italy's Adriano Curto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
