The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, 曲弘迅 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 太原理工校队 and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to 太原理工校队 getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. 曲弘迅 hit a great ball. Shao Jun Ting kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Remy Dupuy took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 毛皓源. 毛皓源 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 曲弘迅 went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Shao Jun Ting came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the 太原理工校队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shao Jun Ting couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Shao Jun Ting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. France's Camille Baume got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nejat Alp Ziya scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, 毛皓源 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 42 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Robert Chapuis. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-3 when 曲弘迅 sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. 曲弘迅 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxime Durand having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

曲弘迅 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 曲弘迅 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, 太原理工校队's Shao Jun Ting sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 齐峰翔 charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 齐峰翔 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 太原理工校队's 齐峰翔 got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 太原理工校队's 毛皓源 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, 曲弘迅 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 毛皓源 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 曲弘迅 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxime Durand was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and 曲弘迅 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 曲弘迅 really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Maxence Durand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute David Barbier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 毛皓源 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曲弘迅 in the 94th minute of play. The 太原理工校队 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 太原理工校队 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
