In the 7th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Chuchro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes 马大哈's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by 罗皓镇 in the 16th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 罗皓镇 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when 罗皓镇 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, 罗坚潮 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and 罗坚潮 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. 马大哈's Franciszek Chuchro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute, 柳钢烽 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by 柳钢烽 in the 45th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when 马大哈 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. 罗皓镇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 罗皓镇 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, 罗皓镇 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Franciszek Chuchro, 1-2. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Franciszek Chuchro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Franciszek Chuchro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, 马大哈's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Franciszek Chuchro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, 马大哈's Franciszek Chuchro got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when 罗皓镇 came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, 钱谦光 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Franciszek Chuchro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 温洋树 in the 69th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes 马大哈 got a freekick which was hit by 温洋树. Franciszek Chuchro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, 温洋树 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 孙勇梁 kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Franciszek Chuchro made a huge save. 79 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franciszek Chuchro. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 柳钢烽, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
