Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Gomberto Picozzi in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Altermundi FC's Disvandis Larraona. Visen Allu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Italy's Candido Piedra threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Altermundi FC were awarded a corner. Recai Taykurt went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Altermundi FC's corner Recai Taykurt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Vittori quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Italy's Siricio Liotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Candido Piedra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Porziano Marchitelli immediately put the ball in play. After a defensive mix-up in Altermundi FC's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Piedra came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Piedra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Piedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 84 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra. Candido Piedra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Piedra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Seran Torrijo hit a great ball. Visen Allu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Italy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
