The referee ignored SE Tijolo 6 Furos's protests and gave Ademir Leão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Dagoberto Veiga got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's goalkeeper Dagoberto Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Raimundo Bittencourt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Custódio came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
