The corner led ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Zinon Makridakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Omiros Ntounos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 10th minute of play forced ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of play forced ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's goalkeeper Omiros Ntounos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Omiros Ntounos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thanasis Vouzakis got free with Fodor Daniel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thanasis Vouzakis made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Christodoulos Kolokithas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omiros Ntounos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 61 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omiros Ntounos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Omiros Ntounos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Farid Delecroix was substituted for Thanasis Vouzakis. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's Omiros Ntounos did a great save. Omiros Ntounos made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes, Paris Georgiadis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Paris Georgiadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Farid Delecroix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Farid Delecroix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paris Georgiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanasis Malioufas hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
