Ton Eschendaal ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ton Eschendaal in the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Ton Eschendaal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Ziemowit Nigbor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Ziemowit Nigbor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rafal Dropinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruch Pniów's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafal Dropinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ton Eschendaal in the 36th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ton Eschendaal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Slovakia's Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Ton Eschendaal came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Ruch Pniów's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
