Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Antal Valentin made the kick off and thus started the match. Pierre Fitzsymon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Pierre Fitzsymon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sly Percival kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conan Shields made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 11th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Conan Shields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conan Shields was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conan Shields took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Conan Shields. Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piers Nethercot in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 34th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conan Shields came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Conan Shields showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 39th minute of the match. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Shields played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham Comets F.C. the free kick. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conan Shields. That made the score 0-5 after 54 minutes of play. Conan Shields was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antal Valentin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. Antal Valentin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 63rd minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Conan Shields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Thorne kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conan Shields. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After 77 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Ricketts. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Conan Shields in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Major Barna scored 0-8 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conan Shields, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hungary booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinnie Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Piers Nethercot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 94th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conan Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Nethercot in the 95th minute of the match. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
