Vicente Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SE Tijolo 6 Furos booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert ter Kruimer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ademir Leão's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademir Leão helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Leão. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after SE Tijolo 6 Furos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Dagoberto Veiga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giovanni Custódio in the 34th minute. The corner ended in Giovanni Custódio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Dagoberto Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimi Drongstrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Jimi Drongstrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giovanni Custódio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dagoberto Veiga firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes SE Tijolo 6 Furos got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Custódio. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SE Tijolo 6 Furos made a substitution. Filipe Sá replaced Jimi Drongstrup. In the 58th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Vicente Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 0-1. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Vicente Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Bittencourt in the 83rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagoberto Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Although Netherlands had been in control for most of the match, SE Tijolo 6 Furos still came away with the win.
