When Bruno Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Bruno Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. The referee gave Valencia CF Mindszent a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andri Shevchenko, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Rodolfo Miranda got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Konstantin Fitos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Moreira got free with Daniel Banaszak in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valencia CF Mindszent's Daniel Banaszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 14th minute of play. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valencia CF Mindszent's goalie prevented a goal. When Konstantin Fitos came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Valencia CF Mindszent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantin Fitos couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Fitos in the 25th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Fitos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the game Gáspár Rigó made a throw-in which Marcell Kiss played forward. But to his dismay, Konstantin Fitos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Daniel Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's Konstantin Fitos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 38th minute of play forced Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Konstantin Fitos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstantin Fitos made a kick off. Valencia CF Mindszent's Dan Beard was substituted for Silvestre Pacorro. Valencia CF Mindszent's Saltuk Peykan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 75th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's Levente Lendvay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Banaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Banaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Banaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 91st minute of the match. Daniel Banaszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolomeu Dias in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Banaszak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Valencia CF Mindszent players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
