After 6 minutes, 김 호 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nimród Vére and the Slovakia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nimród Vére getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. 김 호 hit a great ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Sörös in the 22nd minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metod Mlynar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tamás Bencsik kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metod Mlynar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Metod Mlynar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Gáspár Vörös made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Estevan Schaub however managed to control. In the 45th minute, Nimród Vére's Estevan Schaub dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Krisztián Sydbøge came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Metod Mlynar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Krisztián Sydbøge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krisztián Sydbøge having to interfere. In the 70th minute, 김 호 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Nimród Vére getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. 김 호 hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Slovakia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
