Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuele Kunz to make the kick off. Afonsinho Mattos took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Isaltino Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Fridolin Neumeister hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Isaltino Pirani made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Noel Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaltino Pirani in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hias Nüssli saved Switzerland from getting behind. Irreal Madrid's Valdir Varela was substituted for Patrick Gomes. Isaltino Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Pirani came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Irreal Madrid's Isaltino Pirani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hias Nüssli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Irreal Madrid made a substitution. Leo Bernard replaced Isaltino Pirani. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Switzerland defense, Afonsinho Mattos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Mattos notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Switzerland's Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Irreal Madrid's Alfredo Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Bernard in the 96th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Irreal Madrid had won after a very even match.
