Balaban Akçam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balazs Lajos went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jafta Tshabalala in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balaban Akçam was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jafta Tshabalala in the 20th minute of the match. Balaban Akçam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 23rd minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taci Hürsev, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Taci Hürsev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Balaban Akçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taci Hürsev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. ƒ¢ кคгค๔єภเz Ŧıгtıภครı's Johannes Baumjohann got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balaban Akçam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. ƒ¢ кคгค๔єภเz Ŧıгtıภครı's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jafta Tshabalala was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Balaban Akçam made a huge save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Baumjohann in the 56th minute of play. Taci Hürsev took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hungary's Balazs Norbert was substituted for Major Barna. In the 77th minute Ray Hayward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
