In the 6th minute, Mikkel Wulff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tristan Pilot's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Robert Le Menn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 17th minute. Gabriel Farrugia struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAS MONKEY. With a little luck, GAS MONKEY's Robert Le Menn got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. GAS MONKEY's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chris Nygaard 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Gabriel Farrugia's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Farrugia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Denmark booed when GAS MONKEY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Farrugia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Le Menn having to interfere. When Tristan Pilot fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GAS MONKEY's protests and gave Tristan Pilot a yellow card for diving instead. Tristan Pilot kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Robert Le Menn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the game Charles-Henri Alavoine made a throw-in which Tristan Pilot played forward. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Simon Bendtsen hit a great ball. With 36 minutes on the clock, Jonas Specht commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 36 minutes into the game, one of GAS MONKEY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Denmark's Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Robert Le Menn. In the 40th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Le Menn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Marcq charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Marcq the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GAS MONKEY's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sam Baclet made a kick off. If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moïse Sola kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Bertram Svenningsen came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertram Svenningsen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Le Menn saved GAS MONKEY from getting behind. In the 79th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. GAS MONKEY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Robert Le Menn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GAS MONKEY's Robert Le Menn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denmark's attentive Mikkel Wulff managed to snatch the ball when Elias Marcq made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Denmark fully deserved thier win.
