Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Danilo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Aires. Danilo Aires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Yahya Ongu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Margarita's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Rigoberto Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Cristescu in the 22nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Aires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Aires having to interfere. In the 29th minute Rigoberto Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Margarita's Danilo Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Aires having to interfere. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Adan Lorencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Bernal in the 43rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Bernal was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Aires came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Margarita's goalkeeper Danilo Aires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Mon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Cristescu made a great header on Margarita's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. Kees Mooiweer made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lars Meesters immediately put the ball in play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Margarita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. 66 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Bernal came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Margarita's Danilo Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Danilo Aires in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Margarita's Danilo Aires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Margarita from getting a goal against them. After 85 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Aires was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Danilo Aires firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Danilo Aires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
