Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The score was now 1-0. Rosario Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 13th minute of play. Rosario Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Skytt in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Skytt to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the LVCVS AVGVSTI defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosario Escarza. The LVCVS AVGVSTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosario Escarza should have stopped the shot. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Skytt in the 28th minute of play. Rosario Escarza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match Portugal got a corner. LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 33 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. When Graciano Coutinho got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Portugal. In the 36th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes LVCVS AVGVSTI got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Jax. Felipe Barreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rosario Escarza. LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Du Yuan Chao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosario Escarza saved LVCVS AVGVSTI from getting behind. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Du Yuan Chao got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosario Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Du Yuan Chao made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Skytt came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Portugal booed when LVCVS AVGVSTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Graciano Coutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosario Escarza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Graciano Coutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 55th minute of play. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Portugal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rosario Escarza came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Chano in the 70th minute of play. Rosario Escarza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolomeu Dias went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Du Yuan Chao managed to get in a good position for a shot. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Du Yuan Chao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. When Du Yuan Chao came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the LVCVS AVGVSTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Du Yuan Chao couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the game, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Felipe Gutierrez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. One couldn't see Daniel Pimentel behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him.
