Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Martynek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bernard Martynek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Carlos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play forced Jagodnica SA's goalkeeper Bernard Martynek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jagodnica SA's Bernard Martynek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute of play forced Jagodnica SA's goalkeeper Bernard Martynek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. 28 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Andrychowski came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Martynek having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Andrychowski in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Andrychowski in the 32nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jagodnica SA made a substitution. Karol Zielinski replaced Cezary Prusinowski. Jagodnica SA's Julian Cichewski was substituted for Wincent Brataniec. Bernard Martynek made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when David Eikelkamp sent off a good shot on target. Leon Andrychowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Zachary Puszynski made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 75 minutes, Rafal Lepper mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jagodnica SA and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Jagodnica SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Lepper to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Andrychowski in the 85th minute of the match. Bernard Martynek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 89th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waclaw Zawadzki charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waclaw Zawadzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Andrychowski hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jagodnica SA had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
