Hungary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Šero Sós scored to the left of an out of position Fodor Daniel, making the score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wieslaw Petka was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Igor Kosiorek sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Kosiorek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 83rd minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zachary Rakoski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Pilarczyk in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Ulisses Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Football Club and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neymar I during the 94th minute.
