In the 7th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felippe Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Urre went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Eusebio Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Cementerio's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Piorno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frank Sachs sped through El Cementerio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felippe Lima. If Alonzo Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Silvestre Urre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felippe Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Blanco in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 69th match minute, El Cementerio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Urre to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Alonzo Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Alonzo Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a El Cementerio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Cementerio were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
