Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rebelution's Oliver Petersson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Americo Frascuelo was slow to take the kick. During this time Rebelution's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Thiago Machado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Vittori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Camilo Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Sigfrido Auletta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustín Rossi skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustín Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Oliver Petersson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zena Busacca's late challenge caught a Rebelution's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zena Busacca helped the player get up and apologised. 33 minutes into the game, one of Italy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Italy:s Flavio Vittori showed great skill when he stopped Dario Guib:s penalty. In the 35th minute, Dario Guib left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rebelution fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Chiquito Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Guib in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rebelution's Marcos Richie got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rebelution's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Thiago Machado in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Porziano Marchitelli. Agustín Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Rebelution made a substitution. Mihály Medgyesi replaced Luisito Tiniebra. 85 minutes into the match, Rebelution's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Rebelution's Agustín Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Rebelution from getting a goal against them. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Rebelution's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Agustín Rossi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Indartsu came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
