Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. James Batistuta started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes Spain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcin Pachucki who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in King Scorpio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 14th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 20th minute of play. If Omar Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Spain's Enrique Rabellino got a free kick in the 28th minute. Adria Bielsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Fyfe having to interfere. Dumitru Purcărete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Spain's Omar Toledo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Glenn Fyfe. Glenn Fyfe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Spain's Enrique Rabellino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, King Scorpio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and King Scorpio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 60th minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Ascaso was left in no man's land by his defense there! A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Erasmo Damião replaced Amador Martxel. 67 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Cândroveanu came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dumitru Purcărete might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dumitru Purcărete ran back to his position shaking his head. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. King Scorpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Ruiz came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Gică Busuioc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 88th minute of play. Sergio Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Glenn Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Spain's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Spain may have spent more time on the ball, but A4p FC Gad were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
