Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Traian Gavruță struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️. In the 26th minute of the match Fabian Pânzaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Iacob Elian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aristide Vulpe hit a great ball. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Elian having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonard Andrițoiu made the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iacob Elian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cezar Mâinea's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezar Mâinea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Traian Gavruță sent off a good shot on target. Sandu Babeș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The throw-in from Chris Mergenthaler in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Sandu Babeș. When G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s Leonard Andrițoiu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute Ulrich Stein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Elian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Elian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Aristide Vulpe hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iacob Elian came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iacob Elian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Leonard Andrițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
