Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Mino in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Maximino Gonzalez came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Joey came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Mino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fodor Daniel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Carolo Rozarius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfredo Joey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takacs Tibor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palermo's Marcelino Chaime was substituted for Carolo Rozarius. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Aquiles Eufemio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Saul Felo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the game's 64th minute Hungary's Antal Valentin took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Alfredo Joey and thus the score was 0-1. Palermo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Major Barna scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Joey, making the score, 0-2. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. When Balazs Lajos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 73 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alfredo Joey was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Mino in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Maximino Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Hungary's Takacs Tibor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Hungary booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Glowacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arkadiusz Glowacki kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 91st minute of play. The Palermo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
