Ciudad de Soria's Olo Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olo Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Berriotxoa. In the 13th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olo Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Italy's Sigfrido Auletta to fire away a dangerous shot which Olo Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olo Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Olo Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olo Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Olo Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Porziano Marchitelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Olo Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 35 in the game by Arrosko Rojas from a close distance when the talented Flavio Vittori managed to make a qualified save. Italy's players were relieved. Olo Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 42nd minute of play. When Wei Chang fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Ciudad de Soria's protests and gave Wei Chang a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Wei Chang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Italy booed when C.D. Ciudad de Soria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eron Patiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Italy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Shen Kun Peng in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Olo Kahn in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Olo Kahn got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eron Patiño kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Olo Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Ciudad de Soria from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Domenech Villa was substituted for Eron Patiño. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Olo Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Zamora in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Wei Chang got a free kick in the 80th minute. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. A collision led to C.D. Ciudad de Soria getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Wei Chang hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porziano Marchitelli to maneuver through the defense. Olo Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wei Chang hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
