Robert Le Menn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serbia's Borjan Golubovic managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramzi Wittmann in the 14 minute of the game. Sam Baclet might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sam Baclet ran back to his position shaking his head. Vladeta Jovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Le Menn having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Baclet in the 21st minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Farrugia, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Tristan Pilot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute Tristan Pilot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sreten Popovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Sacha Bagot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAS MONKEY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sacha Bagot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Sam Baclet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

Thanks to some nice moves Tristan Pilot could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Zvezdan Nedeljkovic however easily saved by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Farrugia came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Sam Baclet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 69th minute Sam Baclet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Pilot. The supporters of GAS MONKEY booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Serbia from getting a goal against them. When Sreten Popovic fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serbia's protests and gave Sreten Popovic a yellow card for diving instead. Sreten Popovic kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Baclet in the 87th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Pilot. The Serbia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GAS MONKEY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
