Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute, Daniel Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marquinhos Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xandinho Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xandinho Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 30th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xandinho Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Giuseppe da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Portugal's Felipe Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which Xandinho Bomba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Silvério Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Silvério Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xandinho Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvério Barral was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Viriato Moura took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Xandinho Bomba to make any attempt to save it. 57 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Xandinho Bomba. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Jailson Gonçalves was substituted for Gugu Silva. Xandinho Bomba came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Xandinho Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xandinho Bomba came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Xandinho Bomba made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Bartolomeu Dias sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the game, one of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute, Daniel Pimentel made a precise shot to the right of Xandinho Bomba. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Bartolomeu Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. If Silvério Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Graciano Coutinho took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Xandinho Bomba to make any attempt to save it. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 97 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipinho Amorim.
