Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilson Andrade started the match with the kick off. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Andrei Cerbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Andrei Cerbu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Caetano during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. GLADIADORES made a substitution. Tales Toledo replaced Juan do Vale. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Cerbu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GLADIADORES's Andrei Cerbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Tales Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 45th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tales Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Cerbu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, GLADIADORES's Wilson Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Souto in the 84th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Souto in the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrei Cerbu saved GLADIADORES from getting behind. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The GLADIADORES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GLADIADORES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
