Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, AnÐaRaHy's Henrique Almeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. AnÐaRaHy's Muriel Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 5th minute of play. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AnÐaRaHy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 7th minute Henrique Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, AnÐaRaHy's Henrique Almeida nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Vânderson Falcão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vânderson Falcão really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Muriel Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after AnÐaRaHy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play forced AnÐaRaHy's goalkeeper Muriel Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muriel Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute of play. Henrique Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Muriel Becker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Muriel Becker came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 42nd minute Henrique Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Emanuel Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Henrique Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Henrique Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muriel Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 55th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 68th minute, Kees Mooiweer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Henrique Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muriel Becker saved AnÐaRaHy from getting behind. Muriel Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lars Meesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Muriel Becker was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Muriel Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muriel Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AnÐaRaHy.
