Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟昂磊 having to interfere. When 唐宁风 fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JIANGSU FC's protests and gave 唐宁风 a yellow card for diving instead. 唐宁风 kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 孟昂磊 came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 孟昂磊 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 14th play minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 孟昂磊. 3-0. After 17 minutes, 马杰岩 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JIANGSU FC and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. 马杰岩 hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 孟昂磊 could save by the left post. 孟昂磊 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of the match. 孟昂磊 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, JIANGSU FC's 狄霆骏 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JIANGSU FC reached it. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 秦坚坤, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 孟昂磊 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes JIANGSU FC got a freekick which was hit by 龙云斌. JIANGSU FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when David Eikelkamp scored to the left of an out of position 孟昂磊, making the score, 4-0. After some careless play in the JIANGSU FC defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 孟昂磊. The JIANGSU FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 孟昂磊 should have stopped the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of 孟昂磊 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 秦坚坤 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 孟昂磊 was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. David Eikelkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟昂磊 having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 孟昂磊. JIANGSU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 孟昂磊. 孟昂磊 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 孟昂磊. JIANGSU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. 90 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Lars Meesters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 孟昂磊 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. In the 94th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 15-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
