Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Glenn Westwood made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Kris Tetley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Austin Hazell made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Austin Hazell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huey Claydon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Huey Claydon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henley on Thames United's Kris Tetley got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames United's Stewart Browne got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Hazell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henley on Thames United's Glenn Westwood got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Henley on Thames United the free kick. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Tetley came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huey Claydon in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Austin Hazell saved Henley on Thames United from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Austin Hazell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Henley on Thames United's Kris Tetley got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. The Germany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Henley on Thames United were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Hazell having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Austin Hazell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Henley on Thames United's Glenn Westwood. But to his dismay, Glenn Westwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 62nd minute Henley on Thames United were awarded a corner. Huey Claydon went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Henley on Thames United getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Brendon Barnes hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Huey Claydon took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th minute Huey Claydon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Kris Tetley made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 81st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Brendon Barnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henley on Thames United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
