Atletico Maturrango's Jaunzuria Luyando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Portugal's Caetano Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaunzuria Luyando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Herbella in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaunzuria Luyando having to make a save. 33 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Coutinho came free, but Jaunzuria Luyando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Portugal's Viriato Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Portugal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
