Yves Dervaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaunzuria Luyando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaunzuria Luyando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaunzuria Luyando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Michael Gavito. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillaume Bonte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Leonides Ybarbo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Atletico Maturrango were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Belgium's much stronger midfield.
