Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aaron Svartengren started the match with the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jesus Llope firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 20th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jesus Llope was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 21st minute Lázaro Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Svartengren's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by BARRILETE COSMICO's Eloy Dubardo. But to his dismay, Eloy Dubardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jesus Llope made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Jesus Llope threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jesus Llope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball.

Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Llope having to make a save. Lázaro Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of play forced BARRILETE COSMICO's goalkeeper Jesus Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Eloy Dubardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 0-2. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Llope read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after BARRILETE COSMICO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt to fire away a dangerous shot which Jesus Llope despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BARRILETE COSMICO's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Llope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The BARRILETE COSMICO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BARRILETE COSMICO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
